I was waiting for the new bumper from SMA that will enable us to mount aftermarket lights in the DRL's space.
Has anyone heard anymore about this new bumper???

After looking at my Denali and H2 side by side, I'm pretty sure that the fogs from the Denali could not be simply switched out.
They are identical in size and shape, but the similarities stop there. The denali light has a bracket actually attached to the backside of the light that mounts to the airdam, I could not see a way to take the light out of the bracket, even if I could the holes that are at the 12 and 6 o'clock position on the H2 light arent there. Also, the flange that accepts the bulb socket is different, so you'd be looking at wiring changes as well.
Oh well,,
I did discover upon inspecting my H2's drl's that the chromed plastic inside the housing at the 12 o'clock position is fading (burning??)to the bare white plastic. Wasn't that way 10days ago at the car wash, I've got 235hrs on the hourmeter, (90% or so daytime) and have been running the stock bulb.
Has anyone else seen this??

I think, ouch, someone stated the the stock wattage is 27 in the DRL's, so I found this sight which sells 40 watt HID appearing blueish bulbs so I am going to try those, the seller says they work fine,,,we will see,,,,,,,,hope I don't get melting...
Everyone, I appreciate the thoughts and ideas on this subject but I need to remember what Buddy said, "FLASHLIGHT optics" sooooooooo, I hope the HID's Headlights will fill my needs, still waiting for the extra bridge that is needed for the system, needs two....

What kind of HID's are you installing?
Replacing the headlamp units is the best way to do the hid's. 9007 HID retrofit kits are not very efficient. This is due to the position of the side by side fliaments of the 9007, the hid retrofits are low beam only and will not give you a decent pattern, you may see less than you did with the halogens.
Some of the members here have changed the headlamp units and had satisfactory results.

PhilD, what is the difference with one bridge or two??? Remember me idiot, . Also the blueish HIdish appearing bulbs should be here in the next day or two.

I recently adjusted the Xenarc's up some more so that there were no hot or cold spots in the pattern directly in front of the vehicle.
I've driven about 350 miles all on 2 lanes and had no one blink there lights at me. I'm not sure about you but I think I had mine adjusted a little too low and now I am even more happier with the lights.
By the way, I had a blue 27w bulb in the DRL position and one has already blown as they were definitely cheap bulbs. I am going to find the best route for replacing the entire assembly. I think the lenses are about 4 3/4 in diameter, and there are some lights out there with a multi mount system that might allow for the lights to be installed properly.

Again thank you - I do have one more question (Can you tell I am knew at electrical stuff) - Where do you purchase the relay - is there a particular brand? Do auto stors carry the relay?
