How far away from the building is "out back"? I park mine in the far back corner where I work just so no one doors or rubs their fat ass up against it. It takes me several minutes to get into the building from out there. Sucks in the bad weather but I don't have to worry about it.

I get teased about the truck here too. I just smile and shrug.

Simple solution. Leave the H2 home, get the ugliest $500 piece of **** but reliable car you can find and park it out front everyday.

My park my H1 right out front and have been doing so for 4 years.

When I bought it I was told by my salesmanager not to drive it to work, pretty much never drive it to work. Within 1 week or so he asked me to pick up an enclosed trailer, at a customers office no less and one of our biggest customers. Bring it to the office, load it up and deliver it to Maryland. Since then I have drivin it to work as much as I could. Hell when Deisel was 30cents cheaper a gallon I drove it proudly to work.

Now add the fact that my Dad is my Sales Manager's Boss and I really get a lot of crap. Funny thing is I am know in the Industry (nationwide) as the kid with the Hummer. But I havn't really gotten any bad remarks but then again people know I use it so maybe that has something to do with it.

I am not saying you don't use it just in case you get that impression. Your boss will have an issue with you until he needs your truck for something.

I am a self employed plumber. I completely understand what you guys are talking about when it comes to customer perception. I dont take my H2 on estimates. Most customers will think that I am rip off artist. I take my wifes mini van. ( a hard working plumber just bearley getting by.) I hate it has to be this way. If a lawyer or insurance salesman came to your house you would think nothing of an H2 parked out front. But a plumber?? Man, what a con artist.
I'm sorry that I'm good at what I do and I'm successful.

It's sad people worry about what you spend YOUR money on. If you make enough to enjoy an H2 than so be it. What business is it of other people. I'll tell ya the nerve of some people.
