The test is off Sorry Guys--the safety guy will not use an H2 under any circumstances--his call.

They are looking at one of my lifted H2's--better for me----to use as a vehicle transport "safety vehicle" to take the crew chief/ family to the hospital after a wreck. No ink yet--will keep you posted.

THIS is the way it goes in sponsorship---a lot of wasted days followed by an opportunity in racing that gives HGW a few minutes of TV time per season. Without TV time, there is no reason for HGW to go to the big leagues.

click on the triangle to the right and ask Jason to delete the whole thread.

Otherwise, everyone would have to delete their own posts before you could delete the thread itself.

Doc:

Do you mean driving an H2 on 30 degree banked turns at 80 MPH plus?

I will do it in a heartbeat, even with my 12" lifted machine. I would love to do that---it will not be at Daytona though. If my sposnorship with ARCA comes through, I will be at Talladega, Michigan, and Pocono. NO INK YET!

John, I'll run anywhere if you want a truck like mine on the track. It's sick!

Good to hear Ken! I can use an SUT in my shows now and then. The HGW Girls are part of the show.

Is it OK if they ride with you?

The question is:

At what angle can a non lifted H2 be stopped and not turn over? Driver wheels up 30 degrees from the passenger wheels--not front to back.

At Daytona and other race tracks, there can be up to a 33 degree road surface. If I park my Hummer on that surface, will it roll?

The Hummer Site says 40% side slope---wtf does that mean?

I am involved with a NASCAR safety iniative for ARCA and need to know if I can use a non lifted Hummer as a first response vehicle. It would get to the crash site firat and needs to stop to call in other safety vehicles.

So...opinions---are fine---but who has the facts????

You don't wheel, so don't concern yourself with big boy things.

HGW, I just wanted to mention that in your first post you talked about 33 (degree) slope and then metioned the 40 (percent) slope.

I wanted to make sure you wasnt thinking they were the same.

45degrees = 100%

Hope this helps.
