He was not deleted. I just sent him a private message, basically stating what STEVE said.

No one will be deleted unless they are offensive, their posts may be moved to other sections of the forum however.

I did not move his post ... I was speaking in general terms.

Some posts may get moved to the other sections of the forum where it is a more appropriate subject for the topic.

Hey Jason how is your H2 Owner experience going? Still sleeping in your Rig? And when do you plan on taking it out on it's first off-road outing?

CO-Hummer,

Your talking blasphemy! Jason explained the situation full and well....hold-off on using the "M-word" before you check it out. I've found that there are lots of people on the site and things can get screwy from time to time.

Sorry, but Jason does not need to "explain" anything he does with this forum. The H2 forum is his, and he is doing a great job.

Jason has invited us here. At any time of his choosing he can either remove a posting, or withdraw the welcome mat. It's that simple.

Didn't your poll and the responses tell you anything?

Or, the reason that the poll may have been split 50/50 was the wording of the question. I had to read it three times before it was clear to me what "yes" meant and what "no" meant. A classic example of how to skew results in a poll. (Not implying that you did it on purpose, just that the end result is the same.)

Some threads in this post suggest some people don't like the look of the H2. I was part of that group. The first H2 I saw was driving down the freeway in the #3 lane and was white like mine is. I said "OUUUH, that is ugly." That was a quote and my better-half brings that up to me ever once in a while. The look grows on you and now I LOVE it!

So I can see someone saying "that's UGLY." I did!

COHum,
I think we could say this Forum is an "open community" as long as one plays nice. Kinda like kids in a sandbox. If you can't play nice you'll be sent home. Hehe! Jason is like the parent whose backyard you're playing in.

Reminds me of that book entitled something like "Everything I need to know I learned in Kindergarten".

Hey I posted results of tests what they said. I'm not saying that the H2 is a bad machine. Actually I think its an highly capable machine. I am wanting to learn more about the H2. I'm more of an Offroad vechile fan. I was just stating facts that someone says the H2 is much better. It is in certain aspects but isn't in other like offroading. You guys dissed jeeps first so i defended them with tests by several people have said. I didn't mean to flame.

We know that is not true. A jeep is a nice vehicle. I currently own a 4x4 Cherokee 2002 and it is driven by my girlfriend. She loves the Hummer, but she will not give up her Jeep.

Mike could modify a Jeep easily that would out perform our Stock H2.

One thing I know for sure is this: For being a stock vehicle, the H2 is nice and performs very well. And because of its tires and power, can hold its own in most situations when compared to other STOCK vehicles. Modified vehicles are a totally different story

See ya

CO, I did not and do not understand your YES or NO question/poll in the other topic on the same subject started by you. My read of the responses is totally different than your conclusion.

Can we just drop it? we are one big happy family. Why do you want to keep on draging this dead horse all over the places/topics? Those Jeep or Disco topics are still on this forum in the proper sections, everyone can go there to keep them going till the cows come home or fat lady sings. Let's just move on, please.

I had several thumbs up from Jeeps and Rovers last weekend. It was all smile, thumb up and wave. We just had a few bad apples Jeep and Disco drivers visited the forum, they do not represent all other Jeep and Rover owners.

When I drive down the road, I never think "Mine is better than yours" about the vehicles next to me. Big guys and bosses don't do that. People in top of the line S class, 7 series or Cadillacs don't do that, only jr. people in smaller vehicles do that, the bosses just drive pass the juniors without even knowing they are there. Same maybe true on the highway of life.

Thus the reason why when buying a vehicle, one needs a "category Killer", "Best in its class". Nothing to do with how expensive it is, but must have certain merits to rise above the rest, such as a Mini Cooper, a Bug, Mach 1, Vette, S500 and many others, all have something unique or history to free them from the competition.
