Hummer Man, I have seen stickers with 3D images, or those types you can see the girl with cloth or without when you move from left to right, etc.. If we have that, other drivers will pop their eyes as they move they see a Hummer jumps out of the sticker, or see the girl in the H2 sticker sort of change appearance. The possibilities are endless.

Jason,

$4 bucks, I am in for a logo sticker. I would much rather have the H2 Club logo on the spare tire carrier with the H2 Club web address below the pic. Anyone have an embroidery shop or something to that effect that could do this kind of work?

Check out the OkC Chapter Page!

Guys,

First off, I appreciate everyone's enthusiasm! You are all a great bunch of people, no matter what the outsiders say!?!?!?!?

Kevin, I contacted a local sign shop here and they offered to do the decals at about $2.00/ea. Not sure of their quality or exact material they planned on using.

However, I have been contacted by two members of the forum (one being "Big C") and would much rather let get the business - as they know what us H2 owners expect. So I am currently waiting on them ...

If I can voice my opinion on the decals: I think user names are better left off, obviously the "by elcova" will be left off, but I think the URL should be listed on the decal - so others know how to join in on the fun.

Something like this ok with everyone (obviously needs to be perfected):

I think that logo would look great, I would place it on my H2. I would suggest the sticker would be a cutout so you wouldn't have the black background that way it would look great on the back window or if someone wanted to place it on their vehicle the background would be the color of their H2.

I think what Jason was saying is that the stickers will be sold with a small profit to support the forum, not at the actual cost.

I'm in, I'll buy one, count me in. I'll not put it on my Hummer, I am not a sticker person, no sticker on my cars. I only have one see-thru round sticker on lower driver windshields, a country club sticker required for entry and parking. It will be an honor to support the forum.

The cutout version would definitely look good. I have several cutout "types" on the Escalade supporting my college. I am eagerly awaiting my H2 purchase so that I may attach "The H2 Source" sticker and show my support.

Hey there Jason,

I was only offering my help if nobody else wanted to do it. Its not my line of business so no feelings hurt here. I would just love to get it done because they are a great idea. My only thought other than the great idea for them to be a cutout style would be that the "H2" should be able to be in specific hummer colors. As others have said, price is not the issue, especially if it helps the site. If you need any help with anything let me know, my wife says that I am a good planner and organizer! Haha.

Just playing devil's advocate here guys, so don't flame me...

I think stickers are a great idea especially if it helps support this forum, by either bringing in new members or through donations made by existing members (just have to be careful not to end up rubbing GM/Hummer's legal department the wrong way though)

BUT...I seem to remember at least a couple of posts in the past where members who advertise on their H2 ended up getting hate mail from JQ Public about ruining the environment, supporting terrorists or some such nonsense. And it seems to me, as much as everyone hates trolls (and yes, I do too), that putting the URL on the stickers just might result in bringing in yet more trolls to this board. Not that I'm worried if that happens though...I know you guys can definitely hold your own if and when that happens!!!

...just letting you know to brace yourselves for a possible onslaught...you know the old saying "hope for the best, but plan for the worst"

I love the sticker idea. This will prevent me from chasing around other H2's to see if they are part of the forum. It will also introduce more people to this resource. Count me in. Can you also make me an "Arnold for Governor" sticker, a "Don't follow me/I've got 91 octane/you can't keep up" sticker, and "SoCal Hummer Club" sticker?

Couldn't you just get GM to approve your idea. I have seen other ideas that GM approves of.
