That furniture is disturbing, even more so that the MIL emailed the pictures Must be a southern thing </div></BLOCKQUOTE>Damn thing is, she's from KC. There are no southern ladies that would be caught whispering about such things much less sending the SIL pictures of it.
Ken, I'm surprised you had that much time with her truck. On the other hand, if she was driving it while you were trying to install the steps it would explain your difficulty with the installation.
P.S. I just wanted to say "bung" and "hole" in the same sentence. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

What about the MIL, don't you need them for her? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>Exactly
My MIL required me to carry around some steps to get in and out, seriously. Anyone watching must have laughed their asses off... </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
I thought you said you didn't let her in?!
Before I got my tube steps, my MIL bought a little step and would carry it with us too b/c of her bad knee. Friggin' embarassing!
So what did you do once she was in? Was she able to reach down and retrieve the step or did you have to do that for her too.
I more than once threatened to leave it in the lot or even drive over it, but I always was a nice SIL, acquiesced, and picked it up for her. .. she cooks when she visits.
