The reason they don't make seaman into admirals is they need to get a little experience under there belt first...maybe in another 8 to 12 years Obama may start to get a little leadership experience and then he can run. Right now I wouldn't let him cut my lawn without a superviser !!!!!!!!

I have the Gibson Extreme Dual on mine, also have the Poweraid TB spacer and an AirDoc CAI with an Airaid Cone Filter and I had it dyno tuned. Made a big difference! I think the 3.7L has plenty for what it is, especially if you add a few things to it:

Here's a pic of the exhaust as it comes from Gibson:

I didn't like it due to clearence issues so I modified it:

I have an 07. The I5 is impressive at the stock rated power. I had chevy 4x4 trucks in the mid to late 70s that weren't over 175HP. The current mfg tollerences and materials will have these motors on the road much longer that the old V8s of yesteryear that require rebuilds and boaring after 100k.

BTW..I have an AirDoc Intake, PCMforless tune, and MagnaFlow Cat back and have plenty of power. Is it an Alpha?... no, but in a 125 yd. sand drag, three times I was within a fender length of a friend with a Silverado V8, and 3 truck lengths in front of two other friends w/ stock H3s.

Mod the I5 and you will enjoy the boost in drivability.

I just wish GM gave us more gears to play with, regardless - I love my alpha! And now that gas is stabilizing a bit, I think my wife is a little jealous.....
