Hey Doc, that's really cool . If you don't mind, more questions:

1. Was that just dremeled off stock?

2. Any reason u know of I won't be able to just drill holes on the console to match the buttons (so that I don't have the black piece showing)?

3. Where is the on-star head hidden?

4. Is the controls cables long enough? If not, how did you extend them?

Thanks Doc! Please take your time..

Hi H2Finally,

I can't take any credit for the install..."The Tint Shop" in Greenville, Texas did the installation (as well as the HIDs, Grill lights and Gobi rack lights).

But...it would seem that carefully-scribed holes would work. According to the owner, Mike, the Onstar unit is positioned behind the dash. Since I've not removed the dash to see his work I can't speculate further about cable lengths, etc. Sorry. But I'll try to pursuade Mike to write-up his protocol and I'll post it when available.

BTW, I'll be "out-of-pocket" the rest of the week for some Rio Grande turkey hunting but I'll contact him next week.
