I think the dealership wanted 1500 installed for the Corsa when I got my truck. That was in June of 04 though when the corsa was newer. Dealership prices suck. Thats why I tried the extreme flow. I think I paid around 700 dollars for the "performance package" claimed like 45 hp and two more mpg. Sounded good at the time.

Very possible. In their defense I never pursued a warranty issue. Once the truck ran well again I just let it go.

I do not know if it is a regional thing or what. I run a Dynatech stainless header and catback system with true duals all the way out over rear axle. I used super 40 flowmaster mufflers all stainless front to back on the whole system. I saw instant perf. gains. I recommended it to some more and some of them werenot H2 but they all recieved the same improvement. Dynatech is a smaller company and get's overlooked alllot. But, i think guy should give it more of a look and try it. If You look for a performance exhaust shop and not a muffler shop You will receive a different attitude as to why they are doing there job. They are looing to make you run better and sound good. muffler shop is working to quiet you down and do not think thay have anything to do with perf. and that is what you get out of the 2 different cases with exceptions of course.
Try Dynatech. i will never run anything else as long as they do not do something screwy. I love them and it sound perfect. Light till You get on it and then you wil hear it. Freeway nice light tone never bothers anyone that rides. In fact get many good comments about sound on freeway. Now I do not what it will sound like since i had the system sterling coated inside and out by Jet Coat. I hope it does not change sound b ut, it will drop temp. dramatically they told me. Will not melt stuff with headers with treatment.
The Dynatech stainless all the way out was $1450 installed about a year ago.

UPDATE: Installed the Corsa Touring exhaust today and it's much better! Nice sound and got my low RPM torque back

You get what you pay for I guess....Gibson was the cheapest one available and performed like it!
