Horses and men are famous up there in the Northeast.
That looks like some sticky, nasty mud.
You should have aired down and driven straight out.

Re: Stuck In The Mud & The Recovery
Nice pictures DRTY. How long did all that take once you got stuck? I'm too lazy to check for EXIF timestamps in the pictures.

Funny how fast two guys can spiral into serious groupthink stupidity.

Re: Stuck In The Mud & The Recovery
a few months after I got the truck we buried it to the frame, putting the tubular steps under the mud. No pics of the recovery as it was frustrating.
We got an 80 HP tractor stuck trying to get it out and ended up walking a dozer all the way over to that field to pull both of them out.
When these things stick good, they don't like to come out.

P,
Did you take those photos from a submarine? What's with the black circle on the borders?

some kind of lens doubler or something I had for that camera. Unless you zoomed in some it gave you that port-hole look

Looks like the front right tire never did any spinning.

The tires were no longer grabbing anything and the front was simply spinning in water, self-washing. The truck and tractor had sat overnight, stuck there.
The pics were taken the next morning after the sun had come up and started drying that side.

Damn, that must have been a pretty deep hole on that side, to be high-centered like that.

Yes, I can. This is original, never before seen picture of the sinking of my 1st H2. I had a water mark on the passenger's inside door handle. FYI, the engine ran the entire time without drawing water past the plastic intake vent. I almost went to the hospital for hypothermia from trying to dig it out in 38 degree water. That sucked.

Re: Stuck In The Mud & The Recovery
This is the same hole 6 months later. My buddy's Zuki had 39-40" Iroks on and he got stuck too. Notice how much lower the water is.

Re: Stuck In The Mud & The Recovery
Do you own jeans Drty?
You guys are sum muddy monkeys. Recovery is kinda fun when the weather is nice. I would say sorry, but the pics are kinda awesome. No damage right?
The first sinking looks awful.
