If you look closely at them, they're like rubber stuff. I think paint would wash off, or in my case, get scratched off.

Yes. When you order them, they give you the option to order another color. They are very nice quality and don't take that long to get. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Would you mind posting a pic? Have you had any trouble with keeping them on?

I haven't installed them yet, since I haven't gotten my grille painted yet. But, they don't look like they will come off easily. They really do look nice.

If I was any good at photoshop, I'd put chrome or white in there to see how it would look.

Does this help?

Cool! Thanks! What do you think? I like it because now you can actually SEE the letters.

I ordered the letters today, $30.00 for a set seemed pretty reasonable.
Thanks Everyone for the help!

Did you get the domed ones or the normal ones? I don't see the point in dishing out $10 for the domed ones, especially since I have 2 PIAA's blocking the H and the R in HUMMER </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
I got the flat ones.(in chrome) I figured I'd manage to knock the domed ones off. Domed might look pretty cool though.
Post a pic of your rig. I don't think I've ever seen it. Sounds really nice judging from your sig. line.

Holy Smokes! There's definitely some chrome on that baby!
Do you think you could size those pics down a bit?
What color grill letters are you thinking of? Black is readable, but white would match the theme.
What color is the winch cradle? It looks like you've used it before.

Are your painted plastic trim pieces (bumpers, fender trims) smooth or factory-textured? I've been thinkin of painting mine pewter since they look so faded already...
