I do have a fairly big curb; maybe I should install an anchor point near the back gate just in case all this is not enough.

Don't forget the roll cage. If you want to take up too much space in the passenger compartment, you can make an exocage.

I need some help from a toy guy.
This is what I am thinking:
6 inch lift, Dana 40’s front and rear, 33s or 35s (maybe need to get the sawzall out for clearance), rock guards, some skid plates, hack off the front and rear bumper (again sawzall) and we might have a solution?

I would say get Dana 60's front and rear, with spools. You should also get a crawler. Don't forget that that trick pre-runner bumper.

No prob Alec, here's what you do:
Find a radicly built up early 80's Toy with a SFA and alreadsy equiped with D60's. V8 Swap is preferable
Next, call Hummer Man (If he can do a Boob Job at home, he can fab your Camry onto a truck frame), and have him cut the subframes off the camry and take the body off the truck frame
Now , using JB Weld, mount the camery on the truck frame.
Don't forget the minor details like getting the all the stuff hooked up you need to drive the new rig.
Last but not least, make sure you post the pics .....

Alec,
Actually, I wasn't kidding! But no need to take me too seriously as there was no offense meant to you, just don't like Toyota, Honda, etc.
When I was in the buying mode, H2 was only vehicle (besides H1) I liked that had the capabilities and options I was looking for.

Any car where you can be in the driver seat and open the passenger door without leaning over is a bit small for me.

Alec,
It's hard to believe somebody was dumb enough to build it, but some fool actually bought that POS!
