I hadn't tried that yet
I would go with the black since your H3 is yellow. I agree, the color combo would look great. One of the first cars I had was a '70 Olds 442 convertible that was yellow and black. First saw the ad in the paper and thought now way. Feel in love with it as soon as I saw it. I might have gone with yellow on the H3 but a good friend of mine has a yellow H2 so had to go with the slate blue.

I orignally wanted either Black or Red...but like you, fell in love with the yellow.
Are you in to older cars still?

I would love to have a muscle car again. One of the best cars I ever had was that 442. I also had a '70 Cutlass Supreme convertible at the time that was my daily driver and the 442 only came out on nice days. Every once in a while I will go search around for a 442 but damn they have gotten expensive. There are a lot of fake 442s out there (regular Cutlass with the 442 emblems and ram air hood) and anymore, I wouldn't mind because I just love the look of them.

In the last couple of years I have gotten into the older cars. (i love the show Overhaulin..anyways..) One day I will be the proud owner of a black '67 GTO. It will look good sitting in the garage by the H3.

That would look great next to the H3. Friend of mine had a black GTO back in high school. I believe his was a '68. Another friend just got rid of his '69 Skylark that he had totally redone and built the engine. Fun car to ride around town in. Don't think I have ever seen the show Overhaulin, what channel?

TLC, Tuesday at 9. Chip Foose takes these old beat up classic cars and restores them. It's kind of like Pimp my Ride, but with real cars. )

Pimp my ride with real cars, LOL, thats cool. They don't do all the pimped out stuff do they.
Laura, they mess up your pants all the time? I figured that would be the case. I am 6'2" and they are more of a hassle to use than not to. Now on the H2 I always use them but not the H3.

Im so used to getting in a big truck with 36's that ive just learned to hop in but when im getting out theres not much of a drop so just a smidge touches the back just enough for a little dirt. As i sit here and say dirt im laughing at my self cause my H3 has had more baths than any other truck ive owned in its 3 wounderful weeks. You no the one thing i miss is having a tail gate to sit on...

I do wish the tailgate had a different design but with the spare on there, guess they had no choice. I sure wish they would have made the back window open

They do put all that stupid useless stuff (let's put a 60inch Plasma TV in a VW Bug...great idea...). Overhaulin keeps it as a true classic. You should check it out.
Thanks Laura. I wish I had long legs, but my gene pool only let me grow to about 5'4. Bummer.

Yeah, I'm in Phoenix. My H3 was the first in the state, although some would argue with me, not that it really matters.
So if you can spot Phoenix in the photograph you must know where this is...

Looks like Sedona to me.
Possibly broken arrow or soldiers pass?
Good to see others from the Valley of the Sun...
We all should get together for a trail run.

Just a hair south of Boynton Canyon by the Enchantment resort in Sedona. We spent the weekend at the resort and drove some of the same trails that the Jeep Tours use. Serious Fun!
