The northeast seems to be a bit "limited" in wheeling areas. This means that I'll get to wheel maybe 6-8 times a year. Each of those trips should be multiple days though.
My guess is that the hour to hour and a half to switch out the wheels will be doable. If not, then yes, I will probably sell the OEM set.
In 315/75R16 I can get:
BFG AT KO's for $200 each.
XTerrains for basically $192 delivered (for 5)
Toyo Open Country M/T for basically $245 delivered (for 4)
Given my budget and what I want to do, which one?
Well, sounds like switching wouldn't be so bad than.
I have had bfg AT's on a few rigs and they were great! However, the X treme AT's have been great too. They have bigger lugs for the mud, but the AT's have better "side biters". So, it's really up to you. They'll both be about the same. as for rims, I'd go for another set of stockers (E BAY for cheap) or some steel wheels.
TAIL RATED!
but the AT's have better "side biters"
Sorry, which of the two AT's? I'm assuming you mean the XTreme AT.
I picked up a set of 5 OE H3 wheels for $285 shipped. Seemed like a fair deal.

The BFG AT's have better side biters, but the Extreme AT's have better lugs IMO.
