I couldn't believe he painted his front door and garage doors yellow. Odd...
Looks like a great time. Glad you had fun.

we did watch a full locked Yota with at least 12" lift go bouncing up that. INSANE!
CO had a pic of me standing in the rock garden at the first bad part.. It's up to my waist. CO almost made it past the 1st bad spot. The break over angle is what was killing us. The pics don't really do it justice.
Anything shy of a rock buggy, was going to have a hell of a time.

Don't know. But he and Tim tried for 10 minutes to get the thing to engaged and he couldn't make it happen. I'm sure he'll post an update. Look for something from Wisha Hadda Locker.
BTW Beebs,
Some perspective for you. Here's the trail we did when you were here:

Just got a new one! Note that little bit of bling glare off the Driver's side Fabtech tie rod.

Re: Spring Creek Run, Colorado 2006
You could have pulled the TC actuator and manually switched him to 4-low with a pair of vise-grips. 5 minute fix.
Remember Moab when I had to switch to 4 HI with the vice grips? There's an entire thead about it here and I bet you could have figured it out on the 3.

Re: Spring Creek Run, Colorado 2006
AWESOME!!!
That rock garden is very similar to what John Bull looks like -- lots of fun when you happen to pick the right lines, otherwise impassable, high-centering, tail-bone jarring boulders garden.
Didn't know you Colorado guys have one, but with a much better view (jealous!)

I knew we'd have to deal with you. I should let you drive my H2 and see exactly how you'd make it through.
Which route did you take up the garden?

Re: Spring Creek Run, Colorado 2006
After I get back from Moab, that's a trail I'm going to have to do before the first snow. Are you all game to try it again?

Just west of Idaho Springs at the Downieville exit (#234). The trailhead just off I-70.
