But every time I started thinking about maintenance, field repairs, etc, I starting thinking of something more practical.

I also wanted something that could be more capable off-road, and a H1 really can't do anything more than my H2. So the JK Unlimited Rubicon eventually won out. With 4-6" of lift, some decent size tires, and a few other mods, it will be able to do more off-road than my H2, yet still be useful as a daily driver.

I will certainly lose some of the creature comforts of the H2 and sacrifice some stuff. I will most definitely miss my H2, and dumb as it sounds, it was not an easy decision for me to make. I've had a terrific amount of fun in my H2 and made some great friends over the years.

We had a 2006 Jeep Rubi before we got our H2, It was pretty awesome, but man I love all creature comforts of the H2. Gonna miss seeing your rig.

I stopped by the Heep dealer to check inventory and saw a darker green that looked nice. Say bye bye to your back seats. This pic is with the seats pretty far forward.

Wow. What happens with the *******Club? What are you going to call it? In order to get a better ride out of the Jeep, you can tow it behind a really nice crew cab pickup. Sorry, Phil. I just had to say it. I'm sure whatever you get, you'll be happy!

The dark green is Jeep Green, my personal favorite and the color I'd get. The Rescue Green is too yellow/gold in the light, IMHO.

I was the first to test drive the first 4-dr 07 that hit the lots here in Plano. I was all excited about it as a second vehicle for the wife. I was disappointed after I drove it. It beat me up just driving down the road. Gonna be even worse with mud tires, larger wheels etc. Would be fun and cheaper, but will not be "my" ride.
