Moeller® Portable Fuel Tanks
I'm sure if I had extra time in the Library(Crapper) I would've found those too! I'm looking at the smaller ones as a multi-vehicle use product. Can use several for the Jeep/H2/H3 or use one or two for the ATV. I agree they are a little pricey, but what's walking atleat 25 miles in the desert or snow worth to you? Not to mention, it would make one hell of a cool bon-fire fuel source when you've been drinking all night!

I don't know about you, but the idea of a highly flammable liquid over my head in a vehicle loaded with electronics, well, makes me cringe a bit.

How much weight would the 15 gallon tank add to the top of the car? About 80 lbs? That could come in handy when camping in remote areas.

15x6=90lbs

The 3-4 places I checked online mostly said gasoline was around 6lbs per gallon

Thanks. Doesn't sound like it would be heavy enough to squash the rack.

Ken, driving through Kansas is awesome if you just slow down enough to appreciate attractions like this:
