It works!! Thanks for the great tech update. It's so much better to hear the alarm verification than having to watch blinking lights.

I finally Hooked mine up! It works great!
It was easy to install. I installed it behind the passanger kick panel. 4 wires to connect:

Black wire to Black wire on harness = Ground
Red wire to Orange wire on harness = +12V
Green wire to Yellow wire on harness = ACC
Blue wire to Green wire with black stripe on harness = Door Switch

My insurance company (State Farm) just removed my anti-theft discount on the H3. I don't understand this as it does have an anti-theft system...just not a great one. Although On-Star is supposed to do a pretty good job of finding your vehicle if stolen.

In any case, when I bought my H3, one of the first questions I had for my dealer was about an aftermarket alarm. He said it already has an alarm and he wouldn't recommend installing an aftermarket one because he has seen too many screw up the electrical/computer systems of the vehicles.

Is this true? I wanted to get one of the alarms with the pager but his comments have me wondering.
