Winter's approaching. Noticed these on ebay a couple of days ago. The price is well below everyone else's.
HotShot
The guy has a few of them....

OK, here is what I found out. Since we have dual washers (front and back) we need to install a bypass kit. Tech support is sending me 1 right away. Everything is still OK to use in Manual Setting in the mean time.
This is what they are sending me:
PDF FILE for Bypass Kit
and here is the link to the tech website:

I was too lazy to "mount" the inline fuse for the hotshot...so I just tied it down...

Just went through the tech section...did you install on the bulkhead or in the same spot I did?

Here is the site for Hot Shot.
http://www.buyhotshot.com/default.asp
This is the unit they use in the special addition. I had one on the 04 H2 I just sold and it worked great for two winters in Michigan.
Real easy to hook up. You can also get them put in at Auto One and many other aftermarket stores.

Also, anyone know where the button on the Pacific Blue is mounted?

Thanks for the post. Might buy one considering how cold it was here in Anchorage last winter.

I know there was a huge discussion about cold weather operation of the wipers...and the general consensus was that we needed something....

If someone would take pictures of the setup on the limited edition and post them here it would be helpful.

Hey Doc,
No Charge for parts or shipping!
I told them someone else has the same problem and would be calling for the same parts and he said no problem.
I forgot his name but for some reason I think it's the same as mine, Jim.
Call this # 800-555-4518 hit 0 for the operator and ask them to page Tech support. I waited on hold for 20 min before I hung up and hit 0, they picked up right away after getting paged.

Ok, this is where I messed up... Don't do it the way it's pictured here. I tried the two posts on the top...didn't notice the second one had a 30amp fuse on it...so after blowing the first and second...finally attached it to the B+ post...the top one along the left side of the fuse box. This one has a 125amp? on it. Haven't blown that fuse yet...
Oh...anybody know where the fuse is for the left post on the top side of the fuse box? The right one was easy to see blown...but I don't know where the left one is...

All done! I attached the ground to the convenient screw to the right of the hood latch. Took me longer than I would have liked...but this was the first time working on electrical stuff on this rig...and I was trying to keep the 16month old from crawling underneath the vehicle....kids...
Now I just have to check on the automatic setting for the hotshot. It wasn't working properly...but everything else is.

LOL yea true but last winter was something special let me tell ya.
I don't see anything wrong with what I'd say is semi-hot windshield fluid shooting on your window unless it's -60 F or something like that.
Didn't know the Pacific Blue Hummer comes standard with it. Wonder if it helps resale? If I install I'll let you know how it went, maybe post instructions.

I mounted mine on the firewall in the area of the yellow x, but I don't remember which hose. It was two years ago. I mounted the button below the rear washer control.
I will see if any of our local dealers have the limited addition that I can look at to see how they mounted it.
