BTW Rodster - that Wikpedia thing was pretty funny - both of us were looking at it at the same time and I was changing it to be more "factual." ROFLMFAO It used to contain a link to the infamous tie-rod breaking vid. Now it contains a link to the Jeep Vs Hummer in Moab vid.

I've been attracted to the desert for longer than I can remember. That's odd given that I grew up in the midwest (not too far from Ree).
While surfing and at long last, I figured out what it was in the early years that made the desert so appealing.
For 10 cents on Thursday and a free ski holiday for two at the Bun Boy Motel, what was the attraction catalyst? Your only clue ...

No shiite, Rodster - we are gonna get along just fine. I grew up in central PA and LOVED the Rat Patrol. Christopher George was the coolest guy ever (remember his series The Immortal"?????) and that show - oh my God that show!!!! It never left me. I ended up moving to CA, buying a Jeep, and running all over the desert with the windshield down and goggles on shooting assault rifles as I went. ROFLMFAO
There is some weird connection I have with the desert. I dunno what it is, but it is strong and emotional and WEIRD! I LOVE the feel of the sun on your arm like your skin is touching hot metal. I love the dryness. The stark barren moonscape. The silence. Maybe it is memories of The Rat Patrol, maybe it is some strange past life, maybe I'm just a freakin nutbar - but when I am out in the desert and well armed, I feel...um... in my element.
I'm looking forward to sharing MY desert with you all.

I like! That'll have to be at Rasor where it's open play. Don't want to go off trail otherwise.
Although, that might get Bondage arrested since he has the permit.
The bug idea: ugh. I'll sit that one out.
