Guys it was a blast in those days and now again.I kid You not when the other day We had it out of chrome long enough to get to drive it some. I had a frined in from Dallas and he had not been i it for 4 months or so. He had no idea I had supercharger. His son who is first year in college was in front seat. We ll I told My Friend remeber the old days with the Stang i would tape a $20 to thedash and after i dumped the clutch if you could reach up and get it it was yours. he replyed he remembered. I told well things are more expensive and it was the kids birthdat. I taped a $100 to the dash and told him to set His seat cmfortale and sit upright. I told Him once i stood o it if he could reach it before I got to 60 it was his. He never got to move towards it. No joke I have got lucky and got another what i call a once in a life time engine and tranny setup. it is allot of what i have made it but it has to be there to get it from the girl. My plan is not to lose the timed lap races at the national show. I have a dirt track owner who will let me practice up in the week if dry. the bad thing about an h2 is it will not slide in the turns like a sprint orlate model so You have to drive it through the turns like NASCAR. At least We will get one warm up run at national show to see if I can find the line quickly. The later the better but, to late is trouble. Rough track.

Finally glad you like My old man memories. Miss those days, guess i'm trying to bring them back now to some degree. But, speed has always been in My blood so it is not to far from My heart

HUMMERcustoms/TAZ:
Just to be clear you're saying your H2 will go 0-60 in 4 seconds or less & turns 1/4's quicker than 12.5. What exactly are your 1/4 times & speeds? This seems unbelievably quick for a 3-Ton+ brick.

Like you I've been a Drag Racer since the late 60's. I now have a '70 Super Bee 440/6 Pack that I bracket race for fun with & my heavily modded '03 Z06 that's in the 10's.
