what a bunch of crap...what i find hard to believe in all the posts is the overlooking of the obvious.....it does not matter if you are breaking the law or not, if a uniformed police officer asks/orders you to calm down, shut up, relax move to the side (anything that is not illegal or harmful) then you obey and wait to find out what the reasoning is....blue lights in the mirror, pull over and ask why you were stopped...if you dont comply, then you know what is eventually going to happen...6 cops, 10 cops all ask you to "stand down" and try to escort you out and you struggle??? and this from a college student who is paying for an education...he should ask for his money back because he isn't learning...one cuff on and still struggling...he is lucky taser/tazer is all he received...

exactly,... it is LAW that if a uniformed officer askes you do to something, even though you don't agree, you do it. You will have your due process to contest whatever you want in a court of law.

In this case, it is obvious that the kid rig'd teh situation to get some sort of benefit. He wanted to create a scandal, would any self respecting MAN scream like a little bitch like that? I wouldn't.... He did it for a reason.

Now, college sucks.... your wrong in the sense that most of those "public' forums with guest speakers, there is an understanding that you have a specific time limit to adress your coments, questions, etc. He violated that, insulted the forum with his arrogance, body language,etc.... insulted the officers with his snot-nosed behavior and honestly, if i was one of those officers, i would crank him one so hard across his face that you would have to remove my fist with death grips from his skull! I dont tolerate smart, "college educated punks like that. Think he knows everything. His folks probably work/ed very hard to get him into a university and he repays them with this ****.... if that was my son, i would taser his ass as a wake-up call every morning.

I think everyone here needs to be reminded that this country was founded by men that didn't sit down when they were told to, that didn't tow the line, and challenged the status quo sometimes to their own death. While this joker may have been a bit crass, he was testing the foundations of our democracy. If he was just being a stupid ass he should have been left up there to embarass himself in the eyes of everyone, but instead he got to prove what an over reactionary society we are becoming. While I may question his virtue I still admire the action.

Make a spectacle, ignore rules that apply to everyone else, resist police, videotape, claim victim status and rights abuse.

CollegeSucks thinks the cops were wrong? Gonna vote for Hillary too?

What kind of world do we want to live in? Cops know that the press will vilify them if they overreact, but at the same time they have the duty to act to uphold the law. They have seconds to plan and react, anything less than perfect is unacceptable. It can be a challenge. The guy was not a little guy and he was actively resisting.

The cops acted to enforce the law. Sorry if it hurt your sensitive feelings. That guy never stopped pushing for what he got, he had many opportunities to comply before he got tased.

Cops are just over paid doughnut eaters. Most are corrupt!
