That's the 495 loop in D.C. Avoid it at all cost around rush hour(Which seem to be all day!)!!!
I took I-81 completely around Baltimore and D.C. but that may be a long way around if you are going to Va Beach.
Glad to here your drive is going well!!!

Re: Paragon around 6-20
Rocks, you can't miss it. It's just south of DC on your way to us. That's where 395, 495 and 95 meet. DO NOT get there during rush hour. Too much traffic and construction. Just wake up and leave Paragon in the morning, before 10am.
Still stopping in DC?
BTW, don't get here during rush hour either. The Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel can get many miles long ugly.....

Re: Paragon around 6-20
This is what happens when you make it over the first giant hill and then don't see the dune behind it. This is up on Lake Michigan on the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. What a blast!

BTW, I need to mention that the flag is a HUMMER X CLUB flag, and it met all the requirements of the dunes, ie. square, 10 feet tall, and mounted at the front of the car with handy-dandy hardware included with the flag. Thanks.

Re: Paragon around 6-20
While she played in the sand, I played in the mud. There is a license plate under there and a winch!

Yes.
I had to use a snatch block to go forward, no one could make it up behind me. Or at least I didn't see anyone picking that particular line.
