Re: New 35x12.50x17 Toyo MTs
I just put the 37x13.50's on mine. Stock rims, no lift. They rub a little on the sway bars in a lock to lock turn but that's about it. Haven't done any hard wheelin yet, so I don't really know what they'll do. They sure look good though. Almost bought the MTR's but couldn't get any cause of the strike. Went to Les Shwaub also. Love the Toyo's. Quiet and ride nice. Had to get a Hypertech programmer though cause I lost a **** load of power from a dead stop but reprogramming to OEM computer took care of that.

post some pics
I still am trying to decide between the toyos and the BFG's in the 37's. The 13.50 in the toyos scares me a little because of the rubbing and I do some pretty rough trails.

Here's a picture of the Toyos after I had them siped. They're great on packed snow & ice now.

Just called my dealer for the 35X12.50X17's...he wanted 347.95 each, but I had to pay shipping too...so it would be about $400.00 bucks per tire.
$1,600 bucks for a set of tires just seems high.

Those are the 35 Toyos? Looks bigger than that! Great setup!

Rodster if you go with the 9.5 rims it WILL rub on the inner fender and front stabilizer bar. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
The rims I'm looking at have 4 1/4" backspace. Does that change things?

Drty, anymore updates?
I got to test the MTRs yesterday at Aqua Dulce (Bouquet Canyon). Lots of nice climbs. I aired down to 20, but not liking the traction I get at all.
The last climb, also the steepest, I can't make it over the top ledge. Backed down, and since the temp outside was 110, I checked my tires, and sure enough, it was at 24.5
I lowered to 20 again (tire air was so hot, I got to use a longer stick to air-out cause it was burning my fingers!!) and finally made it over.
I thought the MTRs supposed to be "tougher" than the stock ATs? But after just 1 run, I've got plenty of rock rashes/gouges.
What's your preference in pounds for running on sandy rocks with the MTRs? I need to learn more abt the MTRs 'cause NOT happy at all for now..
Thinking I should have gotten the 37" ATs instead.

Anyone know how the Toyo MT's handle in the snow? I am thinking of going with the 37x13.50's... But wondering if I should keep the stock A/T's for the winter time, or if these would be good to leave on.
