We could easily exceed that at the rate we're going.
I see a few on your list that were on my list, too, (like me, for example) but we can add at least three more at this time. They're not forum regulars. I still have a bunch of fence sitters, a few of which will likely come.
If we cap at 15, we'll probably end up with 10-12. Trucks break, plans change. A dozen is a nice size group. Big enough to be fun and diverse, small enough to get down the trail at a reasonably good pace.
Here's a bit of trivia for you: Did you know the best hotel in Baker is called the Bun Boy Motel? Anyone know anything about this place?

hmmm, Heading that way would add an hour minimum. I plan to drive down through Livermore and tie into I5 between Livermore and Tracy. Know anyplace we could meet below that? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
No worries, I can scoop you up on 580/5 interchange, there is a Rest stop south of the interchange on I-5. Lets meet there at say 3:30?

Just looked at my Delorme Atlas, and yep Barstow is just down the road from Afton Canyon exit. Plus Barstow intersects I40, which goes to Needles.
I can just park my beat up Explorer SUV on a side road or something, cant imagine wanting it.

No I sure Dont , No Rocker bars either im going to have to be kind of careful on this run. i dont want my wife getting the wrong impression of what it means to have a good time
off road..Pin stripes or banged up Q panal will not help my case...lol </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Don't worry about the rocker bars - you can drive the whole Road and not really need 'em - unless you wanted to do some of the more difficult side stuff you really will be fine without them.
On an H2 I highly recommend the shields. An H3 just may be narrow enough to squeek by untouched.
And about the low hanging Joshua tree branches....I wouldn't want a can of fuel sticking up there.....
