Speedy came back with an offer that they were ordering clips and screws from Hummer of Seattle.

I think I'll be stopping off and checking the illustrated parts breakdown for the A pillar covers at Hummer of Bellevue just to make sure that's the proper fix before I ever let them put their dickbeaters on my 3 again.

The high pitch squeal that resonated from my windshield at speeds from 25 through 75 was due to the glass company improperly installing the windshield. They put so much sealant in the top of the track it changed the angle of the windshield.

So they replaced the windshield for the second time and they had to replace the A pillar covers since they rigged them.

You know, kind of like Obama, "he can't fix our economy, but he might could rig it!"

Yeah, I know I'm going to hell....

I was getting wind and flapping noises at speeds above 40. The first time, the service tech put two sided tape between the rails and the rail caps. When I brought it back the second time he determined taht it was a bad dood gasket on the rear door behind the driver. The third complaint to the dealer about the same problem brought us to a conclusion that the roof rails were faulty and replaced with a new design, and the "A" pillar cover was warped.

So far so good, though there is still a little more wind noise than I think there should be and I attribute it to the factory roof mounted off road lights.

Greetings all!

I think my H3 passenger side rail or trim has finally cracked as I am hearing the rattle/flapping noise at highway speeds/wind conditions tat everyone mentions.

Was this problem covered under a recall/TSB? My warranty has expired so I am interested in determining if GM will replace it for free given the widespread nature of this problem.

Thanks!
Chris
