Re: SAVE THE CHEERLEADER....
Paragon and I watched this show on Monday for the first time. I felt like I was doing drugs watching it. Maybe we should have watched it from the start, but I don't think we will be watching it again.

Re: SAVE THE CHEERLEADER....
I thought they weren't going to show Peter getting back up in the end. I was going to be disappointed to have to wait for the next episode, then SUDDENLY he got up. I'm still hooked to find out what happens next month. I get more and more into the show as we progress.

Re: SAVE THE CHEERLEADER....
Ok was it just me or did anyone else think the teasing glimpse of Sylar looked a lot like Peter's brother?

Too fast for me... I wish I had TIVO. (I'm holding out untill I can get one with HD)
Any thoughts on Hiro? Seems wierd that he didn't just show right back up. My theory is that he is with the woman somewhere... somewhere other than the resturant.

Re: SAVE THE CHEERLEADER....
BTW, Hiro is back about 6 months, remember? That's when everyone started getting their powers. Hummmmm.....
Coincidence or not?
Now ponder this:
Future Hiro told Peter he had to save the cheerleader, and Hiro had nothing to do with saving her since he went back in time to save someone else. Now, does Future Hiro mean he, himself, has to save her later at another point, or did he mess something up in time/space relations? Why did the clock in the diner click backwards one second?
Peter had to save Claire because he's the only one that could survive a Sylar attack, since he takes on the powers of others.
The painting has Peter with a scar on his face, but the scar healed with Clair around. There's also blood on the Homecoming sign in the painting along with Hiro and Ando.
So maybe Hiro saves the waitress, alters time again, saves the cheerleader, but Sylar escapes.
Stopping Sylar won't stop the bomb, and stopping the bomb doesn't Save The World.
This is set up to replay with different outcomes for a long time.
One last thing, are you sure they saved the right cheerleader? She doesn't look like the one in the painting with the blood all over her. Jackie died.

Re: SAVE THE CHEERLEADER....
Claire's MySpace
Zach's MySpace
So as not to ruin anything, you have to highlight the following to read it:
Quote:
#1-10: Six Months Ago
Air Date: November 27, 2006
Guest Stars: Erick Avari (Chandra Suresh), Rena Sofer (Heidi Petrelli), Nora Zehetner (Eden)
- Here's NBC's official write-up from the episode:
THE CLOCK TURNS BACK SIX MONTHS AS "HEROES'" SECRETS ARE REVEALED -- As the clock turns back six months for all of the "Heroes," Mohinder's father Chandra Suresh (guest star Erick Avari) arrives in New York to begin his quest to find individuals with extraordinary abilities, and meets someone all to eager to be special. Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) celebrates his graduation from nursing school, and learns that Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) plans to prosecute a case that could mean trouble for the entire Petrelli family. A surprise visit from her father brings out the worst in Niki (Ali Larter). Hiro (Masi Oka) attempts to be a hero and change the future for someone important. Claire (Hayden Panettiere) joins the cheerleading squad and makes a curious discovery. H.R.G. (guest star Jack Coleman) and the Haitian meet someone special. Noah Gray-Cabey, Tawny Cypress, Greg Grunberg and Leonard Roberts also star. Rena Sofer and Nora Zehetner guest star.

Re: SAVE THE CHEERLEADER....
Just a thought, Niki had a twin sister named Jessica. Just before Jessica was killed by their father she passed herself to Niki and waited until the time was right to come out.
In the trailer for episode 10 we see Peter hitting the barrier in his car. I wonder if this is the "accident" that caused his wife's injuries. They didn't show her in the car.
And guess who Hiro's father is? George Takei!!!!
