i am interested in a nav that would be able to tie in with the vehicle computer and show a more detailed status of the vehicle. Not the MPG in particular, just anything more than the info display does currently. I was looking at getting the new pioneer avic-z1. do you have any idea if that would be able to show some vehicle info? if not or you dont know, which do you know of that can do something like that?

avic-z1 > all. Which reminds me, I need to go buy one to replace my n2.

These navi systems show info like, speed, slope, acceleration and side acceleration (how many g's you are pulling), voltage, compass, etc... doesn't calc mpg, but it can track miles driven and hours driven and whatnot.

I know they exist as I have seen them for other vehicles. I don't have the makes & models but I'll look in other forums.

Definitely. But I'll wait for the Diesel and keep our current car for highway cruising and the higher load capacity.
I'll also keep our current car to have the H3 safe from my wife and kids....
