Another question to throw out there...
I'm trying to figure out if you'd have to change the locker out for one that accepts a higher ratio gear OR if you're currently forced to get a set of "thick gears" made (maybe some already exist?) to regear an H3.
Is the rear locker in the 10 bolt rear axle an EATON model of the elocker? I could look up the model and see where the carrier gear break is and figure this out if I knew the model rear locker thats in the H3s? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
The differential is a newer variant of the Eaton 10 bolt. It doesn't use legacy gear dimensions.

So, what about adding a front E locker?

Also about the front locker... will the half shafts be strong enough for this mod? Also nice winch setup... read up on that winch and they say its submergible... very cool.

And my question is do you retain the stock shocks, and if not are they included in the price?

Re: H3 with Rough Country 5in lift and 37's
I know this is an old topic, but I see the kits still aren't released for sale from their site yet. The yellow H3 is a monster!

Re: H3 with Rough Country 5in lift and 37's
What i wonder is if you can carry a 37", heck, even a 35" spare tire on the rear mount? seems it would hit the bumper and not fit in the mount??

35's fit on the rear carrier no problem. Don't have my truck so can't look to see if 37's would fit w/o moving the mount.

I came across the ebay link for the yellow h3 with the 37" wheels and it stated that they had to add a special bracket to the original carrier to get the 37" on it. It looks like 35's are the biggest the stock carrier can handle.

Other spoke to the Speed/Odometer effect on wheel packages. Is there a fix as you upgrade to larger dimensions?

I have personally driven a stock H2 and my H3 over the "H1" wall at our dealership. just have to pick the right line.
