I just watched the video. What a drama queen.
No wonder he tasered her, she didn't do anything but dis-respect the Officer. She also had suspended license, she obviously has no respect for authority.
The first words out of her mouth after the drama was I am suing the ... out of ya'll. I guess she will call John Kerry to represent her.
Imagine that!!
What is the officer supposed to do let her dictate to him what she wants to do? That isn't the way it works. I wonder why her license is suspended? I am sure the Officer knew that her license was suspended before he ever approached her.

She should have said " Hey your a public servant, go get me a glass of water"
Just kidding
She got what she deserved for not responding to the officers requests.

What a whiny bitch! She is faking it all the way Better hit her with the pepper spray too
h2c0-pilot; I would imagine you would be better protected with the pepper spray. I say that based on the following...
You will probably be attacked at a very close range.
You are more likely to make contact with the spray while under attack then with the electrodes of the taser.
That is all based on NOTHING! Just trying to imagine the best defense in the most common attack situation.
Firm; one of the two jobs I have is a professional firefighter. The people I see who have been sprayed by PD are far worse off than those that have been tazed. Just my personal observation. From experience I have been hit with the spray before and it was hours before I felt better.

Mully,
Did you belong to the CDFD????
A hand held Tazer is better for Co-pilot. Using pepper spray in close quarters might/will hurt her along with the assailant. The Tazer gun also requires a target standing still. Not so accurate.
Hand helds will allow you to even bear hug an assailant where you can pump the juice into his backside. Trust me, it's surefire!
Stand clear though, Tazers will cause the assailant to lose ALL bodily functions. EWWWW!

I have experience with the hand held- never zapped anyone though. The backside sounds good but I would probably tase the frontside if I could. I pity the fool.....
I also have a mace pen, and used to carry a little egg knife on my keychain, and have taken some Krav Maga classes...I'm not fawkin' around.

No, ****! I didn't know you were an M.O.T.! I have a little background in Krav Maga. When the Chief Safardic Rabbai of Israel (kind of like the Jewish equivalent of the pope, without all the pomp) came to visit L.A., he had 3 body guards. I was one of them.

Whatever, GFY!
I have always been told that I need to be careful. I just want to be prepared. I almost kinda want to try something on somebody. I know I am little, i just wanted to up my stakes a bit. I am paranoid that someone is going to get me ( like a hermit crab when it changes shells ). Probably all the Lifetime movies I have sat through..
That Tazer story is one of the first things I ever read on here. It still makes me tear up.

Accidental Tazing is common. Especially if you forget to discharge after use.
But that guy actually Tazing himself??? That's really gotta hurt. LMAO!

Negative. Taser and stungun are 2 very different items. The Taser shoots a couple of barbed darts, which are connected to the launcher by spiraled hairlike wires. Because of this, it can be used at a distance. As long as the wires are intact, you can keep hitting the switch and re-shocking the assailant. The Taser would be ineffective against someone wearing a down parka or with several layers of clothing because it would not get close enough to the skin. The stun gun shoots no projectiles. Consequently, the operator must be close enough to the assailant to press the contacts against the body.
Accidental discharge is common with the stungun, not so with the Taser.

Thank you for the explanation. I knew that somewhere in the deep darks depths of my brain. That is what I was thinking when h2co-pilot was talking about getting a taser. A stungun would be much more effective.

Oppps! My bad. I seem to have refered my Stun gun as a Tazer which are two different things.
It's a common mistake. Thanks Mully.

So you've been stun gunning your nuts and not Tasering them.
