Racer, do you like this container better than the Delta one? I did only because it is black (of course) and leaves much room for other stuff!! Like all the firewood we are going to need for camping!!!

I've read a whole bunch of web stuff about the Bun Boy Motel. Found a few blogs where people posted their observations, etc.

Bottom line, it's clean, next to a 24 hour coffee shop, has A/C and cable and you can park in front of your room. (Try doing that at the Bellagio!)

For those of us that are hoteling it, the Bun Boy is the Baker Bellagio. $64.20 per night for a single queen bed; $69.95 per night for two queen beds. Number is 760.733.4252. That's a new number -- the numbers on the web don't work. They changed the name, too. It's now the Country Store.

I'm there and reservations are made!

I'll mug an H3 driver on the street and see if I can find some company for you.

Nice!

BTW, I'm no marketing mind but I wonder if this thread might get more action if you change the title to something like SoCal/SoNV/NoAZ yadda yadda? Could be Mojave Road means nothing to most people. I've been in Vegas a couple decades and only learned about the M.R. a couple months ago.

Odd, Mojave Road abbreviated is M.R. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

That IS odd! And get this....
You're strange is abbreviated YS!!

By the quote, he is still signing it Sean. Weird.

Ed, go, it should be a great trip. I can see it now.

"Hey I'm Ed"

"Hi, I'm Scott, well Sean."

"WTF?! Oh yeah, I heard about that from the elite elcova members. You are a creepy internet dude."

"No, I'm not creepy and I'm not going to hurt you. Did you see my first handle on the forum?"

"What?"

"Do you like Bondage?"

"WTF?"

"I like Sean Connery, you know.. 'do you wanna shee my shword?'"

Ed runs away... finds a nice man in cammo pants that can help him all alone in the desert.

"Hey Dude"

"Hey, I'm Jennifer, well Ginger....."

Whadda trying to do -- scare people away?

You talking about the stretch west of mile 39 in Casebier's notes? Assuming so, if we have non-shielded trucks that prefer not to get pinstriped, there's a bypass to the south that connects with/becomes Cedar Canyon Road, which then reconnects with the Mojave Road around mile 49. Will that alt route bypass the scratch-and-sniff-sniff section?

Good point. Replacement (in the field) would make sense, yes?
