I could remove the spare tire and mount it on the rack..but the prospect of picking the spare off the rack, of course if ive got a flat im not haveing tons fun either huh...lol

The small amount of chrome (except the grille) is growing on me.....I think.
you know what they say once you have black you never go back.....put a black grill on it and you won't ever believe you left the chrome on for sooo long.

Being serious, I bet the Needles place will be fine. That's a busy little town with a regular flow of travelers.

Anybody else bringing kids? My daughters will likely be with the wife and me. They're 6 and 7.

Dozzat answer your questions? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

It doz, it doz!

What map software are you using? Wanna export the route and send it my way?

Regardless and thinking out loud, I'll look at my maps and figure out where in relation to the likely camp spot the turnoff to Barstow (hotels) is.

The times are doable. We'll have a 90 minute drive south from Vegas with a stop at the Laughlin turnoff for gas (there's a fairly new gas station/mini mart at the intersection). My guess is, 8:30 is a reasonable meet time.

Any rattlesnakes near where you're planning to camp?

Oh, nevermind, I don't want to know 'cause I think I do.

And BTW, what kind of radios are you using? I'm good with FRS/GMRS and CB. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

I'll be creating waypoints to upload to my Garmin 60cs - if they work for you, I can probably figure out how to send them to you!?

The turnoff is Razor Road.

Snakes??? Naahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I'll have a CB and a couple of little Uniden FRS handhelds in case someone is without a CB.

So we are counting you and Mrs. Rodster in?

<span class="ev_code_RED">PRIZE UPDATE! PRIZE UPDATE! PRIZE UPDATE! PRIZE UPDATE!</span>

More! We have more!

Johnny, tell 'em what they've won!

Two great gifts for two lucky drivers! Each one will recieve one of these lovely Hummer-sized "Red Cross First Aid Kits"!!

I think the first one should go to whomever can show off the biggest scar - whether it's a war wound or a C-section scar! And the second? Well - whoever bleeds first on the trail.

Maybe not.

Sean
ps - and stay tuned 'cause there's still much more to come!!!

Racer,
I would give up soon. You're the guy in hole who keeps on shoveling.

You don't want to be part of a group? Don't want to be a groupie? Ummmmm. Then why do you stick your nose into a fight that isn't yours? To protect the forum innocent? zzzzzzz. wrong. You do it to fit in with GoldBond because you think it will make you cool and give you some sort of status. Your such a simpleton if you think people can't see that. It is really, really pathetic.

Now I'm really going to bed.
