Glad you brought this up Albie. BTW, great to hear from you!
On our trip from the Great Commonwealth of Virginia to Paragon, our truck averaged 13.8mpg! After wheeling, idling, wheeling, and driving back to the Great Commonwealth of Virginia we had an average for the trip of 11.8mpg. Excellent!

At 31,000 miles I'm getting about 14 to 16 on the highway constantly but around town it get's more like 10 to 12. Right now it's at an average of 11.2 but it's been as high as 13.1. I guess it all depends on how agressive I drive.

Thats pretty dam good AZhummer!!!
I drive like a crazy teenager 10.3. I drive like my granddad 10.3 What ever I do 10.3
(I think I did see 11.2 once or maybe that was in my dreams)
I have 37 tires and a Magnacharger with factory gears. I'm thinking of changing to 4.56. Magnacharger said that it should improve the mileage. The other thing they said is that with 37s, the Magnacharger is running in pre-boost.

Something sounds funny there. Not that you're making an error, but MAG may be misunderstanding something. I'll PM you and another member tomorrow.

First 6K, 11.0 MPG; last 10.5K (since adding 6" lift, 38x15.50, road armor bumpers and brush guards front and rear, 12K hydro winch, 5th wheels equalling about 1000 lbs. and killing the aerodynamics) average is down to 9.1 MPG and dropping!!! (but speedo is not recalibrated). How much of a difference does having everything recalibrated matter ? Would doing a super charger, headers, exhaust, intake, chip, and gears make a worthwhile difference (3MPG or more) ?

Mine's still 11.3 mpg. Which is what it was with stock tires....add the 37" plus the 03 update, and I get the same mpg. I could probably get a lot better if I drove decent, but that's just no fun.

At 26,000 miles I'm getting about 15 to 16 on the highway; but around town it get's 11.5 to 12.5. I have Airaid filter and MIT tube plus synthetic oil on engine, trans, and diferentials.

Wait until it starts hitting 90 degrees. That A/C is going to drop your mileage like a brick.
Dan, are you driving down for tomorrows HH?

Maybe I need a driving lesson from those of you getting over 13MPG!
At 21K, I am getting about 10.5 in town, and only 12 on the hwy!
