Use the search feature and look through the archives.
You'll find an incredible amount of information on this subject.
There's also some information about turbo kits if you look.
I am in the supercharger camp.
Ask questions if you have them. You'll find answers here... lot's of good people on this board.
Welcome to the club!

I went through the old archeive but i didnt find any new info. , most of it is old ones not for the 2006 model.
any way i was confused with the Vortech and the Magna, but now i think i became more convinced with the Magna.
best regards

Hello,
All the posts, whether for 2003, 2004, 2005... about superchargers will apply to your 2006 H2.
It's the same engine...
Sounds like you are headed in the right direction though...
Its a lot of fun to smoke off car's at stoplights...

Should be the same Vortec 6000 6.0L motor as the 03-05 used.

The '06 H2 is the same. It is the 06 Escalade that has changed. The engine was upgraded from the 5.3L to the 6.0L.

You sure about that??!! I am pretty certain that all the '03-'05 Escalade models had the aluminum head ho 6.0; I could be wrong though. Only the Avalnanche and the Suburban/Tahoe came with the 5.3.

Bottom line:
Same engine in all year Hummer with VERY minor differences.
The supercharger kits for all years H2 are 95% the same. Whats different is the programmer, and some bits and pieces like the fuel pump.
So yes, buy a kit meant for your model year... It will have the fuel pump and programmer you need.
But when comparing kits you can use information from ANY model year H2 to get the data you need to make a purchase decision...
