WTB A little respect for Land Use Issues
It seems that in these days of Global Warming Hoopla and trampling of constitutional rights, that there is very little respect given to land use issues. Those of us still trying to protect the land use forum are quitely eliminated by big brother and the issues we try to expose the public to are quietly swept under the rug like a drty little secret. What you all need to understand is, that if we do not band together to protect and respect the land use forum that soon those "moderating" our speech will spread out over other boards like an infectious little whore. Today it's crypto facism tommorow all your technical question's about the effect of corrosive poo on your bed liner might disapper. Help support the saviours of the LU.
Thank you for reading.

Re: WTB A little respect for Land Use Issues
Move to a state where the people are in control, not the greenies...
If they fence in land here in TX, we run over the fence. If they put up barbed wire, we cut it. If they give us tickets and screw with our trucks, we hire lawyers, and sue everybody.
It's places like CO, CA, UT and the like where the greenies have way too much power. If the people of those states weren't pussy asses they would do something about it...
I'll get off my high horse now...
F*ck the greenies and their Prius piece of ****s...

Heck, there are 180 miles of BIKE trails in Dallas-Fort Worth Alone!
As far as your question, I'd try the internet, by city. It's a big state, so if you want trails, you'll have to decide where you'll be wheeling.
Problem here in DFW is that everying is flat and muddy, so the kind of wheeling that is enjoyed in CO and UT just isn't to be had...
I've heard that there is some great stuff in West Texas, though...
As far as my previous rant.... I was a little hard on CO and UT. I just heard that CO is shutting down fossil hunting completely as UT has already done. (Vertebrates). Seems the greenies think it's better to let the mining equipment destroy the fossils as well as having the fossils rot in the field rather than risk someone selling it for a profit. Of course this hurts guys like me who donate a great deal of material to museums and sell nothing...
Anyway....
