Re: New H2 owner...
Congrats on your new ride.. As far as nav disks go. Check EBay as they are there often.
I know I'll be putting mine up once i get my update disk from GM.

Re: New H2 owner...
Yes... they never sent me my card to get my updates, so i called and bitched a little.
You can enter your VIN on their site and check if you can still get your free update CD

Re: New H2 owner...
I have an 06 and requested my update. I got it a couple months ago. I believe you are allowed one free update with-in 2 years of ownership.
I think it works by VIN#. So if the previouse owner got his update, your out of luck ? ( But I'm not really sure how that works.)

Re: New H2 owner...
I would call them and tell them you want your update. I believe you get up to 2 updates and it's tracked by vin not owner. With an 07 I think u should still be able to get a free update.
keep us updated.

Re: New H2 owner...
I have a NAV disc from my 07 Avalanche, but it wont work on my 05 H2. No idea why, but I need to get one for it so hopefully they will send me one for free.

Re: New H2 owner...
There are advantages to having an older disk. My brother was looking at homes in a new subdivision, that are selling fast since they dropped prices 25% with the bad economy. I have the original factory nav disk in my '06. None of the new subdivision streets are on the disk and when we drove down to the the street they are building, the disk showed we were driving in a nice sized "blue lake area." hmmmmmmmmmmmm
