No new news, but what ever was the hold up lately with shipping to dealers seems to have eased as they are dissapearing out of the lots at a fast pace. I heard that there was a hold on manuals, but that has been lifted and they are being built and shipped.

Thanks for the news, H3 Builder.
I wonder if the manual 5-speed transmission was on hold,
then built for a while, and is now on hold again.
Today operators at the Hummer (800)732-5493 number
told me that there is a hold on H3s with manual transmission
due to supply problems, and it is more than 4 weeks out.
Did you also say that the factory will be shutdown
for a week or two during July? Just interesting to know.

The UAW and GM negotiated a 2 week shut down as it was getting hard to get time off for vacation. That way everyone had time off durring summer and it's combined with the 4th of July. Also it was used for model change and also summer sales are slower.

But will H3's on the lots still be shipped during this break?

Yes, they still ship during this time. We normally come back and the lot is empty.

Hey H3 Builder, my Black H3 is scheduled for production 6/27. Will it be done for shipment before the vacation break? I'm not up on how long the process takes. Thanks for any info.

I believe it takes approx 16 hours to build one from start to finish.

What's up, all...I'm new to the forum. Got a little info on the manual transmissions. As of yesterday, the manuals are still on production constraint due to a "whining" sound while driving at low speeds in 3rd gear. This info came straight from HUMMER. As of now there's no time frame for production start up...not until they figure out whether there's a reason why the tranny's making that noise. Oh well...guess their QC is working. Too bad for me though, I've had mine on order since May 24th. Black Adventure package, manual. I'll hang myself the day I buy a 4x4 with anything other than a manual transmission...no matter how long I have to wait for the geniuses at Hummer to perfect their product. I'm a YOTA owner and will swear by them for their reliability. Hope I'm not dissappointed with a GM product.

Im holding out for a Nav option Sunroof order...Do you have any idea on a time line for making Nav. option available? and is there any truth to a "stop order" on sunroof options?
Thanks*

Those are dealer installed options and the factory has nothing to do with this or any other dealer option.
