Hello Hummer Bretheran,
I own an '04 H2, but LOVE the Ebony interior of the '05's. I've spent tons of time and money customizing my H2 to where I'm very happy with it, so I'm not prepared to trade it in(and have to start all over) for an '05, but I really want the dark interior(never been much of a beige/wheat kinda guy.)!
My question, FINALLY, is has anyone painted/dyed the interior panels(door/sills/dash/hatch etc.) and what is the final result.
I've been talking to a local company that says they can DYE the plastic panels(HUH)!
Not sure how this will look.
Maybe I'd be better off buying all the OEM replacement panels but I'm not sure exactly which ones I need:

Any help in this matter would be AWESOME!!

I bought an aftermarket door post cover that holds three guages. It came in black, and we have a grey interior. I was told to either take it to someone that does interior work, or paint it myself. Good Luck.
