Default Scratch Repair with Mothers Power Ball

I have a lot of brush rake and scratches on my truck. I had been looking for a product to help remove these scratches. I tried Scratch Doctor and it didn't work very well. The scratches are over a large surface area.

I found this product from Mothers, the Powerball 4 Paint. It is one of their polishing balls that attaches to your cordless drill.

I also got the Mothers PowerPolish

I finally had a nice day to try these products out yesterday. Product went on easily, be careful of flying polish when first starting the drill.

Before: There were a lot of light scratches and a few deep scratches on the door panels of the truck.

After: The scratches are practically gone. The scratches are still noticeable close up, but it made a big improvement.

I definitely recommend these products to remove large scratches.

Default Re: Scratch Repair with Mothers Power Ball

Good info, man. I'm curious about what it'll look like after a few car washes. My last truck was about the same color as yours and it was scratched to high hell. But after a couple hours of buffing, it looked brand new. Didn't last though, after a few car washes, the wax started wearing/washing off and you could see the scratches again. They weren't as bad though. Let us know how it goes after a few washes.
