cabin air filter
I purchased a cabin air filter for my 05 H2 and can't find it anywhere. I dropped the glove box and didnt see anywhere it could go.

there is only a few that actually has a changable cabin filter, and by few i mean i think it was very very early 2003 models.. ones that were first to roll off the line.
i know on my 03 H2, i do not have a cabin filter thats changable.

Just changed mine today. Mine's a 2003 VIN 913.

my 2005 has a sealed box under the dash, no filter but NAPA did sell me one thats supposed to be there, strange. Are we sure only the early 2003 had em?

I have an 03 H2 with a build date of 10-02 and the last 5 of the vin are 12313 .I do not have a cabin filter ,at least that I can find .Is this normal ? I thought early H2's had a cabin filter .

Has anyone actually cut open the HVAC box where the lid is suppose to be and install a cabin filter? I saw there was a post on the other forum but I cannot access the pics and haven't heard about alot of people doing it.

Funnilly enough I have been thinking about the same thing lately. I had a transmission fluid line leak and now it smells like burnt fluid when I turn on the AC
Here is a thread I found at Diesel Place Forum that is 6 pages long but talks about doing a retrofit.
I have not had the time to read it all the way through but at 1st glance it may have some good info on this subject. Let us know if it helped
