I was hoping you give me some idea how the door panels come off so I can replace factory speakers with aftermarket ones.

Check the impedance of the system and the new speakers before replacing them.

Are you also replaceing the Sub in the back, and if so what size are you replacing it with? (will a 10" fit there?)

I just had the basic radio in my H3.I am just replacing speakers and head unit.

Don't know for sure my self if there is, but I believe most factory systems these days use an external amp.
Could be wrong, it has happened before

Thanks anyway dude,I am going to stick with factory speakers they sound fine to me.I love the new Alpine 9820xm I just installed.My onstar still works along with door chimes.I just checked to see if my Ipod would work,which it does along with XM radio.Hope you get better soon dude.
