Ok, though my H2 is brand new this week I would like more power (seems like a consistent topic in here). What do you think about the Airaid Jr. kit? It seems to make sense to me since it uses cold air from the outside (via the stock air cleaner housing) and has, what the state as, better ducting. Thoughts? Is the K&N stock filter element available yet? Should I get the K&N filter with the Airaid MIT? I would appreciate all of you experts out there to give this H2 "newbie" some advice. Thanks.

You can spend $1500 to $3000 on a CAI, CatBack, Headers, & a Programmer to pick up a few RWHP, 10-15 maybe. The only way to really wake up our 7000 lb+ H2 is with forced induction. Good luck.

ARH, thanks for the comments. Yes, I agree that a SC would make a substantial difference. As most of the new owners out there, I am just not willing to risk the warranty arguments and/or the cost. I really think that maybe I will go the air intake, cat-back exhaust and maybe re-programmer route for now. Any other thoughts?

The "Intake Roar" under acceleration with the K&N was pleasing but I never was satisfied that pulling hotter air from under the hood was an UPGRADE over the factory system. Sooo, I put the factory airbox back on & will leave it at that, for the moment at least, LOL. Good luck, many are happy going the route you've described & I hope you will be as well.

As I stated in another thread, I installed an Airaid Jr. kit on my new H2. Gas mileage has improved (as listed from my computer) from 9.8 to 10.4. This is really great news with the price of gasoline lately.
