firewall help
I'm sure there might be a thread on this but I dont really have time to search through them all. Can someone please tell me how and where they ran wires through the firewall for the switch for some off road lights? Pictures would be helpful too if you have any. Thanks in advance.

You really wouldn't have to search far as there's a thread on the same subject just above yours.....

Re: firewall help
This thread has scanned directions for OEM lower grill lights. The instructions show the wires that go through the firewall.

Re: firewall help
It looks like the wires need for the grill lights are already in place. Has anyone used these wires when hooking up PIAAs. If not, is there enough room to run the wires to the PIAA switch threw the same hole was the factory lights are using?

Re: firewall help
Wires are wires for the most part. I don't think there's any power on these wires. Check them with a voltmeter to make sure. They are more than sufficiant to control a relay from a switch inside the cab.
They are not big enough to run the lights if no relay is used.

Re: firewall help
There are wires that are available from one side of the firewall to the other. Take your pick. They were put there to add Overhead roof lights or lights in the grill or on the brush guard. No need to add more for 3rd party lights.
