Default Stock vehicle height question...

Why would the stock vehicle height have changed in '06? What's different?

Wikipedia reports:
Height 79.2*in (2,012 mm)
2003?05: 77.8*in (1,976 mm)

Just curious.

Just came upon this post...interesting. Any thoughts on this? I am guessing they used different reference points on the H2 to define the max height. Maybe the 03-05 are measured to the heighest point of the sheet metel and the newer ones are measured to the top of the roof marker lights. By looking at pics, all the H2's seem to have the same height and probably use the same springs. Indy

Not sure if this helps but I have found that with roof racks on the truck on both my 2006 and 2008 (I think the ass of the 2008 is just a hair higher as I have the air suspension) that I need basically every bit of a 7' high garage door header to clear. This leaves an inch or so of wiggle room. My new house has 8' doors so Ive got a ton of room. At my old house I had to adjust the garage door opener to pull the door up over and clear of the 7' header to fit.
