I have owned my H2 for approximately 2 months and must say that I enjoy driving this machine. However, when driving the vehicle at speeds of 65 or more, a wind noise appears from the windshield. The noise is not intolerable and is easily fixed by a quick turn of the volume knob; nonetheless, I would like to know if the noise is common in the H2’s.
Thanks.

I have had my H2 since Feb. and also have a wind noise but mine seems to come from the Drivers door or window @ speeds of 45 mph or over most commonly.

I had some wind noise from the drivers door when I purchased my H2. I think there is a TSB on the drivers door wetherstrip problem. They fixed it right away. As to the windsheild wind noise I think this is normal because of the angle of the windsheild. I would have the dealer check it out anyway. BIG-C

I will have to take the service manager for a ride to determine if the noise is normal. I will check the door next time I am on the highway but I am sure that the flat windshield is the reason for the noise. Thanks for the quick responses.

I have the Hummer for 1 year, I have no unusual wind noise except the expected wind noise from moving a very large and heavy square box at 85 MPH. The interior is airtight.

Bayou H2, I had a similar problem, always at highway speed, and it took them forever to figure out what was causing it. When you take your H2 in, ask them to check for possible loose A-pillars and molding around the windshield.

Mine comes from the passenger side. I figured it was the antenna whipping a bit. Not too much of a bother but if it gets worse I'll take it in.

At 70 I had the same wind slapping the windshield noise. After installing a Magnacharger now all I have is a whistle.
Dan from Alabama.
When you drive your house down the hwy at 70 expect some wind noise.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I realize because of the brick like shape of the vehicle, there will be some noise and if the dealer cannot remedy the problem, I am willing to accept it. When I bring it in for service, I will ask the service manager about the A-pillars and molding around the windshield…….or maybe I should consider the supercharger remedy!

My h2 hade the wind noise at the passenger side lower front windshield, but it is now along all of the bottom edge of the windsheild. First problem with the h2!
All I need now is to find the time to bring it in.

Although you are discussing a different issue, when windows were down, to much wind noise. Installed Windtech visors which cut down on the wind noise. The roof light bar still catches alot of wind, though.
