Is there not a light under the hood on our H2's???? Or is mine F-ed up?? Also, they should put a light in the SUT bed like most trucks have nowadays.

Yes they should.

Damn them!!!!!My 95 Tahoe had this kick ass light on a cord that extended like 6 feet and a normal hood light. I'll have to rig something up.

I agree... A cargo light and under hood light should be there.

I've never had a car with an underhood light that was very useful anyhow. I keep a flashlight and a mini clamp-anywhere 150W worklight I can run off my inverter handy just in case.

I noticed my 03 didn't have a light under the hood.
Neither does the 05.

For working under the hood, yeah they're underpowered. But if you want to check the oil at night, or add washer fluid it would be nice. It's a stupid thing to omit, IMO.

Checking the oil sure...getting the floppy dipstick back into the dark little hole (please no comments ) that you can't see is another thing altogether :-)

Sorry, had to comment. If you stroke the floppy dipstick for a while it goes back into the dark hole a little easier </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
But with it so dark I guess I'd have to rely on my imagination for that to work

My 03 built Aug. 02 has the light. My dipstick hates the light being on.
