Intake / Exhaust for better mileage
Will standard K&N intakes work as good as a cold air setup to improve gas mileage?
RE: the exhaust....
I will purchase one for the same reason, to help a tad with mileage (God I love it when I have good excuses to buy something!)
What is exhaust flows well but isn't that loud? I've come to really like the quieter cabin.
Will doing a cat back only help with the gas mileage?

Re: Intake / Exhaust for better mileage
This has been covered many times ,the stock setup works just fine. if you want to see for yourself . dyno your stock setup and then buy the K&N and cat back . dyno that ,and compair the 2 . you may find 1 or 2 HP above 3500 rpm ,but that's it . do you drive in that rpm range ? as far as mpg ,at 1800 to 2200 there is no differance.

Re: Intake / Exhaust for better mileage
IRA is correct, go with his advice. You would gain some torque with catback but, not great. You would need long tube headers to go with them to get most out of both.

Re: Intake / Exhaust for better mileage
Thanks TAZ!
I did go with his advice... I didn't order either one, cold air OR exhaust.
For now I'm just going to get used to the H2 mechanicals... and work on the cosmetics..
Thanks again!!!
