Has anyone seen one of these in person? How does it look? It looks like the chrome overlay on the handle looks cheap, but how does the actual grille look in person? I think I am going to go with the basic kit and buy seperate handles.
Is possible to chrome plate the stock grille?
My only worries is there is a fine line of too much chrome... I have seen some killer H2s with the grille painted the stock color... Hmm, maybe time for photoshop .

Which handles did you get? So you did not get the deluxe overlay kit that covers the stock handles, right? Do you have any pics?

the overlay grill is a little too much for my taste, so i just ordered the Manik handles from
http://www.raceandstreet.com/display...html?uid=10590
They are a curved disign that I feel looks nicer than the stock design.
Talk to Maggie, she's really helpful. I ordered the fuel door from them for $99 and they included a replacement gas cap since the stock gas cap did not fit properly after the fuel door installation.

Here is a picture of one with polished handles, and chrome plated ones. The pictures do no justice for how cool it really looks.

Do you have to remove the insullation on the underside of the hood to install?

CJ you don't have to take the padding off. The handles hold the factory grille on with four bolts. It doesn't even take ten minutes to do the whole job. It's really easy.
