Default Manik Nerf Bars

I am looking at purchasing manik nerf bars and looking for some input from those who have them.
Do you get more ground clearance with this brand, I noticed on some pics that the factory rocker bars are removed for the install, so i am assuming that there would be more clearance.
Can these only be installed without the rocker bars.
Is the finish on the stainless polished set a quality finish that require little maintenance.

Thanks

Default Re: Manik Nerf Bars

I don't have Manik bars, but judging from the response in the H3 forum, they're not "tough enough." They tried the rock rails, and they got mangled on some easy runs. I wouldn't be surprised if the step rails were just as flimsy. If you're only interested in the clearance, then don't use any nerf bar or step, but leave the factory rock rail on.
