If the rear axle is the 8.6" Which I beleive is a 10 bolt, how well does it hold up with the locker in it? Has there been any cases of breakage due to using the locker? When not locked, is it an "open" diff. ? And lastly does the traction control try to limit wheel spin on both axles? Thanks for any and all info. You guys are a huge help. Who makes this E-locker & is it available on any chevy trucks?

It's an Eaton, and is damn strong.
Pretty sure it is an open diff when not locked.
Yes, the traction control works on all four corners, as well as the stability control and ABS.
Eaton does make some axles for larger trucks, not sure if the E-locker is available...believe it is, but can't say for sure.

Thank you f5fstop, you seem to know your stuff. Through your vast knowledge (and others) I will know damn near every detail about H3s before I finally get one--which hopefully will be late spring or so. I have always been a huge fan of the H1 but unless something magical happens there won't be one in my garage. But the H3 seems to have the goods in the ranks of meer mortal trucks.
